The purpose of this website is to provide information about diabetes, and diabetes carefor healthcare professionals and people with diabetes.
We aim to provide support in conjunction with the local health Trusts and community groups, to aid people with diabetes living in Wolverhampton and the surrounding area.
The prevalence of diabetes in the West Midlands is one of the highest in the United Kingdom. Current data indicates there are approximately 16,000 people with diabetes in Wolverhampton city. Trend data suggests that the diabetes prevalence is increasing in Wolverhampton and is consistently above national comparators.
